Irungu Kang'ata discloses Uhuru negotiating BBI consensus with Ruto's camp behind scenes

-President Uhuru Kenyatta who is the Jubilee party leader was said to be keen on getting a common ground with those still expressing lukewarm support for BBI - Kang'ata opined the people of Mt Kenya would benefit more if the Bill sails through in the proposed referendum. - The legislator confirmed he had been approached by Uhuru to bring together the Kieleweke and Tanga Tanga opposing sides in Central Kenya. Murang'a Senator Irungu Kang'ata has dealt with the former prime minister Raila Odinga a blow after disclosing President Uhuru Kenyatta is working behind the scenes with his deputy William Ruto to achieve consensus on contentious issues in the 2020 Constitutional amendment Bill.
