When I am Gone Poem by (EW KENYON 25th April 1867 — 9th March 1948)
My work will not be finished.
When this form you've laid to rest.
I'll be living in my
writings.
I'll be doing then my best.
I'll be in the books I've written.
In their words I'll live again, I'll be breathing out
my passion.
To help the sons of men.
You will feel me though I'm hidden.
I'll be speaking to your heart.
Will be driving you to study. In life to do your part.
To be living is my craving.
To help you find life's best. When my name they
have forgotten.
You'll be working while I rest.

lives in his books.
MY REFLECTION: Our question is, where will
we be in 100 years to come? I know we will be gone — what will you be remembered
of? Let's live our lives to the fullest.
Let us leave our footprints and landmarks they never reveal our race, class, tribe or religion.
They merely say we were here and left a mark.
